As a result, they are more receptive to commercial messages than is the case for other forms of media ­ as opposed to editorial sites, they are not
being informed or educated ­ they get to do something they really enjoy. They visit www.zylom.co.uk to play a game and relax.

The average duration of each visit is 36 minutes, and they plan an average of 2 games per visit, amounting to an average playing time of about 18 minutes per game. Zylom is unique in that ads are not rotated ­ so advertisers have 100% SOV (share of voice).

If the objective of the campaign is to generate traffic to a landing page, we offer our 3-in-1 proposition on a CPC basis. For this advertising model, you are only charged when visitors actually click on your advertisement.



For this objective, the campaign comprises the following 3 components, all of which are clickable:
  • A Flash commercial lasting a maximum of 20 seconds (shown prior to the game being played)

  • A Leaderboard, which is visible during the game (for an average of 18 minutes)

  • A Button, which is visible while the game is being loaded and during the game (for an average of 18 minutes)

If the objective of the campaign is to create brand awareness / brand preference, we offer our 3-in-1 proposition on a CPM basis. If the aim is Branding, TV commercials would be the most effective use of the gaming environment.

In this case our Pre-Roll Video Ad is flexible for up to 30 seconds so TV commercials can be easily moved from TV to the Zylom platform. In addition, there are no hosting costs. For this advertising model, only the views of the Pre-Roll Video Ad are charged. The views generated for the Leaderboard and the Button (both visible for an average of 18 minutes!) are not charged and are therefore included in the CPM price.



For this objective the campaign comprises the following 3 components:

“Active engagement” is every advertiser’s highest communication goal; what is more effective than actively involving your consumer in your message and ensuring that the consumer interacts with the brand in their preferred environment? As an alternative to advertisers developing their own games, we also offer Customized Games. Every game we have can be fully “rebuilt” based on the advertiser’s style guide and objectives. The advantage is that the production costs are minimized; you are guaranteed that a game will be successful as it is already played by millions of players around the world, and you will have demonstrable success. When customizing a game, we leave the basic functionality and key elements intact. This shortens the production process considerably.
Customizing a game takes approximately 6 to 8 weeks.

This type of game promotion is known as “seeding” a game.

We have special “promo boxes”: on our homepage which are used to draw attention to our own games. We can also use these promo boxes for games from advertisers. By doing so, we draw the consumer’s attention to the game and provide guaranteed “Game Starts”.
